Giles Cooper Entertainment by arrangement with United Talent agency presents ESCALA in three exclusive live UK shows. 2018 marks ten years since Escala rose to fame by reaching the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2008. Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to see the Ground-Breaking electric string quartet, ESCALA (plus VERY special guests!), in 2018

Escala rose to fame when they entered Britain’s Got Talent where they reached the final in May 2008. After the show they signed a £1.5million contract with Simon Cowell and went on to release their album Escala in 2009.

Escala is comprised of Victoria Lyon & Honor Watson on violin, Stephanie Benedetti on viola and Helen Nash on cello.

Escala have played all over the world and performed with many artists including Katherine Jenkins, Brian May, Richard Ashcroft and Pink Floyd. To name a few performances, the group have appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, on the Sky Sports 2008-09 campaign, and at the James Bond film premiere of Quantum of Solace in London (Leicester Square). Escala continues to be a firm favourite with many, performing in the last few months for organisations such as Facebook, William & Son, Chopard, Citadel and the Professional Footballers Association.

As Ambassadors for Help for Heroes, they have performed at the Help for Heroes Rugby Union challenge match at Twickenham Stadium and more recently at the inaugural Cricket for Heroes match at The Oval.

Their latest album Quadrasonic was released in January 2016, produced by Youth (Martin Glover) and performed by Victoria Lyon, Chantal Leverton, Honor Watson and Helen Nash. With arrangements by Simon Hale and Escala, tracks include Bittersweet Symphony, Louder, Make You Feel My Love, Roxanne, Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) and Tainted Love.
Their arrangement of the DJ Fresh track “Louder” was performed with Diversity on ITV’s 2016’s Royal Variety Performance.

Their first album Escala was produced by Trevor Horn and includes a diverse range of tracks including Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir featuring Slash of Guns N’Roses on guitar, Robert Miles’ Children, Handel’s Sarabande and Ennio Morricone’s Chi Mai. New arrangements of Karl Jenkins’ Palladio and Paul McCartney’s Live & Let Die are also on the album.

Escala performs extensively for both public and private audiences worldwide and they continue to arrange and record new material, constantly pushing the boundaries of the electric string quartet repertoire.
